Hi all,

This will just be a quick note serving a dual purpose. On one hand, I’m here to break the ice on the newsletter (it’s been 240 days since our last confession… ), which we’re hoping to pick back up as we close in on Spring+Summer projects!

On the other hand, I do have some news. Today, we’re opening a new online cafe space for espy. Confused? Us too! As it turns out, discord isn’t just for gamers! We’re excited to use this as a gathering / conversation space for the espy community, free from ads, algorithms and the ever present eye of the Zuck.

I encourage you to give it a shot! There’s definitely a 5 minute learning curve, but we’ve been having a lot of fun already.

Think of this place as your ideal cafe, full of people that may live across the country from you! You can enjoy a cup of coffee, chat for bit with your friends, and meet some new people. This honestly feels like joining AIM in the aughts, we’re excited to see y’all in the chat :)
